Frontino

Perched on a cliff overlooking the picturesque valley of Mutino, stands in front of Mount Carpegna Frontino.
Its territory stretches between Massa and Trabaria Montefeltro and rises from an altitude of 500 m. s.l.m. 1000 m. about the Sassi Simone and Simoncelli (nature reserve).
Of great interest is the Monumental Complex of Montefiorentino (XIII sec.), with the Renaissance Chapel of the Counts Oliva and the most important work of Giovanni Santi, Raphael's father, the Monastery of San Girolamo (1500), dedicated to the Fountain Elementary Teacher The fourteenth-century mill, the Museum of Modern Art with works by Franco trim and the Church of Saints Peter and Paul with canvas Cimatori 'Madonna and Child with Saints'.
Every year we celebrate a major literary event in Frontinus: The National Prize of Culture 'Fron-Montefeltro', founded by Carlo Bo.
Each year the first week of August there is the manifestation of the "Triumph of the Black Truffle, "and the first weekend in September, the "Festival of the Bean. "
